U.N. Chief In Israel: Jews Must be Driven Into The Sea

Posted by Larry Barnes on March 20, 2010

Visiting U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon, Saturday (20MAR10) adopted the terrorist position that “Israeli settlement building anywhere on occupied land is illegal”. That is a evidence that the U.N. is a body controled by the terrorists and dictators of the third world.

The death of 16-year-old Mohammed Qadus, who was shot in the chest by Israeli security forces, comes amid heightened tensions between Israelis and Palestinians after Israel announced plans last week for 1,600 new homes for Jews. The use of the term “disputed east Jerusalem” is a code word for people who wish to acknowledge that any dispute put forth by terrorists is legitimate.

The settlement announcement has sparked phony outrage by the political class and violence from Palestinians, as well as condemnation from politically motivated hacks in the United States.

“Jewish neighborhoods in traditionally Arab east Jerusalem” is the terminology the Associated Press uses to disguise anti-Semitic tendencies in the press.

Ban and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and other major Mideast mediators — known as the Quartet — met in Moscow to try to find a way to pander to terrorists and destroy Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.

The mediators urged Israel to halt all settlement construction, which has emerged as a key obstacle to renewing talks. Israel has agreed to curb settlement construction in the West Bank, but not in east Jerusalem, claiming the entire city as Israel’s eternal capital.

‘Must be stopped’
On Saturday, Ban rejected Israel’s distinction between east Jerusalem and the West Bank terrorist terminology “occupied lands”.

“The (leftard and terrorist) world has condemned Israel’s settlement plans in east Jerusalem,” said Ban pandering to the a news media at a conference “Let us be clear. All settlement activity is illegal anywhere in occupied territory and must be stopped.” Everyone listening knows the terrorists consider all Jews occupiers.

The U.N. chief reassured his Palestinian hosts that the international community (of terrorists and thug dictators) supports the establishment of a Palestinian state, and the terrorists will consider this complete when the Israel’s are driven into the sea. Ban also expressed concern about what he said was a worsening humanitarian situation in blockaded Hamas-ruled Gaza, but had no proposals on the situation. This is more evidence that pandering can’t be moderated by constructive endeavors that would alienate him from his terrorist hosts.

Speaking later Saturday in Jerusalem alongside Israeli President Shimon Peres, Ban repeated the Quartet’s call for a resumption of talks and for the establishment of a Palestinian (code for sanctioned terrorism) state within two years.

Earlier this month, Israelis and Palestinians agreed to indirect talks, with U.S. envoy George Mitchell to shuttle between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. However, the negotiations were put on hold after Israel announced its new settlement plans.

A phony diplomatic row between Israel and the U.S., initiated by the Obama clown troop including Hillary Clinton suggested that assimilation of the terrorist language hindered renewed negotiations. Clinton has asked Netanyahu for specific gestures, because leftard believe in symbolism over substance, including canceling the most recent housing plan. She will pretend to listen to the Israeli leader in a meeting in Washington early next week.

Senior U.S. officials in Washington say Netanyahu apparently has put in writing the pledges he made to Clinton during their telephone conversation on Thursday. The problem being that speaking and listening in code will lead to disappointment when negotiations result in a plan language agreement.

“Even though Palestinians fear that expanding settlements will take the land they want for their state” is the way media and politicians position their argument, those that know are not confused. Temporary arguments of the moment are a tool used to keep the useful idiots occupied while inroads are made in the plans to destroy Israel.

Netanyahu has agreed to a 10-month curb in West Bank construction that ends in September, but the the lefttard political machine and their compliant MSM outlets ignore that the apartment complex is schudled to start construction after the end of the 10 month dead line.

Nearly half a million Israelis live on war-won land, including some 180,000 in east Jerusalem and nearly 300,000 in the West Bank.

ISF Arrest al-Mashadani for Suspected Crimes

BAGHDAD –Adel Karim Shaker al-Mashadani was arrested on March 28 in an operation led by the Iraqi Emergency Response Brigade and supported by Coalition Force advisors.

Mashadani was arrested under a warrant issued by the Iraqi government. He is suspected of illegally searching, detaining and extorting bribes in excess of $160,000 a month from the citizens of Fahdil, improvised explosive device (IED) attacks that killed Iraqi Security Forces (ISF), leading an IED cell, leading an indirect fire cell, ties to Al-Qaeda in Iraq, and collusion with the terrorist network Jaysh al Islami.

He was not detained because of his involvement with the Sons of Iraq (SOI).

“We remain thankful for the extraordinary work of the Sons of Iraq, and the contributions they have made to the security of Iraq,” said Major General David Perkins, spokesman for Multi-National Force – Iraq. “The Sons of Iraq have provided a great service to the people of Baghdad.”

Police Efforts Lead to Improvements in Iraqi Province

Posted by Larry Barnes on February 17, 2009

American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, Feb. 17, 2009 – Although police in Iraq’s Salahuddin province still require U.S. military support to professionalize, equip and train their officers, they are leading the counterinsurgency effort, the commander of American forces there said today.

“The security situation here has improved dramatically in the past year, and much of that progress is directly attributable to the provincial Iraqi police,” Army Col. Walter Piatt, commander of 25th Infantry Division’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team, told Pentagon reporters in a video teleconference.

Piatt said Iraqi security forces have had no problem implementing the U.S.-Iraq security agreement, which calls for U.S. forces to recede to a supporting role of Iraqi security efforts. By June, U.S. forces hope to decrease their footprint in Salahuddin from operating out of 20 base camps to only eight, he said.

“Here in Salahuddin, the Iraqi security forces, especially the provincial police, are ready now,” the colonel said. “When it comes to fighting and combating terrorism in Salahuddin, the police are the ones who take action first.”

The predominantly Sunni province is home to about 1.1 million Iraqis and is located between Baghdad and Mosul, bisected by the Tigris River. More than 17,000 people fill the ranks of the provincial police, while another 9,000 make up the province’s “Sons of Iraq” civilian security group, Piatt said.

The provincial elections that took place Jan. 31 are a recent indication of improved security efforts there. As was the case in most of the country, elections in Salahuddin were relatively calm, but to the province’s credit, a higher percentage of registered voters in Salahuddin turned out for the elections than in any other province, the colonel said.

Other indications include improvements in the Beiji oil refinery and continued refurbishment of the al-Askari Mosque, better known as the Golden Dome Mosque, in Samarra, he said.

As far as U.S. forces are aware, local security efforts have ended corruption at the refinery, which is Iraq’s largest oil producer, Piatt said.

“Much money was being peeled or siphoned off to feed corruption or even, in fact, perhaps even the enemy itself,” Piatt explained, “but what we see now is that through leadership [and] development of internal systems within the refinery” is that corruption no longer is an issue.

Though he didn’t have specific numbers or statistics available, Piatt said the increased capacity is “tremendous.” The refinery is operating consistently between 65 and 80 percent of its capacity, producing more than 290,000 barrels of oil daily, he added.

“The exports are way up,” he said. “[The refinery is] making money. It’s producing products for the province, but also for the rest of Iraq.”

The 2006 and 2007 bombings of the Golden Dome Mosque — one of the holiest sites in Shiite Islam — divided the country on sectarian lines and resulted in some of the most violent months of the entire Iraq war. Today, refurbishment is well under way “at an accelerated rate,” and the once-empty streets of Samarra now flourish with pilgrims and tourists visiting the shrine, Piatt said.

“It was, a very, very good scene for us to come back here and see the progress made in Samarra, where so much was destroyed and so much hope was destroyed,” he said.

“There is much more construction to be done on the mosque,” he added. “There are some security steps that we must take forward to return the city back to its normal state. But these are two very exciting steps that we have seen and much progress being made in both the Beiji oil refinery and the Golden Mosque in Samarra.”
